On August 3rd, MOST and UNEP held a meeting in Beijing to discuss cooperation on water resources in Africa and set the framework for agreement.

The MOST-UNEP cooperation project on water resources in Africa is a tri-party collaboration between China, the UN and African countries. Aiming at enhancing capacity building and sustainable development in African countries, the project covers technical cooperation with African countries in the fields of water resources planning, water environment protection as well as water treatment and utilization.
