MOST and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a forum on electric vehicle development in Beijing on the afternoon of August 19th.

Minister Wan Gang pointed out that China's development strategy for new energy vehicles corresponds with the international trend. The development strategy should be identified based on technology portfolio, market demand, target customers and total investment.
