Dr. Sun Hong, Director-General of CSTEC, led a delegation to visit relevant UN agencies in Nairobi, and met with Achim Steiner, Executive Director of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), officials of UNEP office in Africa and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office in Nairobi.

Sun briefed UNEP officials on the preparation of MOST-UNEP Water Project in Africa, as well as MOST's endeavors on addressing climate change through south-south cooperation in the domain of science and technology.
