Approved by the State Council, the 4th Ministerial Conference of Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) was held in Beijing from September 19th to 23rd. The event was jointly organized by MOST and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

Minister Wan Gang addressed the opening ceremony on September 22nd. He briefed the participants on steps taken by China in developing CCUS technology, including policy making, R&D demonstration, capacity building and international cooperation. Believing the next decade will be a vital period for the future of CCUS technology in the world, Wan expressed his willingness to promote CCUS technology with global counterparts.
