Vice Minister Cao met with Academician Krivtsun, Deputy Director of E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute underNational Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on December 23 at MOST.

Academician Krivtsun conferred upon VM Cao the Letter of Appointmentas the Honorary President of the China-Paton Electric Welding Institute signed by Director Paton Boris Evgenievich.

VM Cao welcomed the visit of Academician Krivtsun and appreciated the honorary presidency. Cao also briefed the guests on actions taken by MOST in support of the joint research institute and the future plan.
