In order to accelerate the transformation of research results, facilitate the optimization of industrial structure, and sustain the ongoing economic transition, MOST recently released at the National Science and Technology Report Service (www.nstrs.cn) the second round of information on S&T achievements ready to be transformed and popularized. The information is an addition to the first round announced on March 3, 2016.
A total of 130 S&T achievements were announced at the latest release, primarily attributable to the grants from the 863 Program, the 973 Program, National Key Technology R&D Program, National Major Science and Technology Projects, Innovation Fund for SMEs and other S&T programs. These achievements mainly address technological issues in relation to public health, resource conservation and ecological restoration, underscoring the important role of science and technology in enhancing social wellbeing and building an eco-friendly society. With technological edges, these S&T accomplishments are highly practicable and mature to be promoted in the market.
MOST will continue to release information on S&T achievements in different areas and provide technological support for industrial upgrading and improvement of life quality.
