On June 7, China’s Minister of Science and Technology(MOST) Dr. Wan Gang accompanied Dr. John Holdren, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to visit Zhongguancun Innoway.
Minister Wan and Director Holdren first visited the Inno Hall, listening to the briefings on services provided to entrepreneurs regarding legal and financial services, human resources, IPR protection, and paid site visits to smart hardware projects like UISEE unmanned driving at Jingdong Smart Milk Tea House.
During the visit, Minister Wan gave a briefing on the implementation of “Mass Innovation and Mass Entrepreneurship” policy in China, noting the nation is urging young people to realize their own value through science and technology innovation. Director Holdren expressed his appreciation for the achievements China has made in advancing innovation and the US side is willing to jointly explore relevant cooperation.
