In the presence of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Mongolian Prime Minister Jargaltulga Erdenebat at the Great Hall of the People on May 12th, 2017, Huang Wei, Chinese Vice Minister of Science and Technology and Jamiyansuren Batsuuri, Mongolian Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for the Establishment of Science Park and Innovation Infrastructure Development in Mongolia.
According to the MOU, the two sides will, with a focus on developing science parks and innovation infrastructure in Mongolia, cooperate on a series of initiatives including personnel exchanges and training, policy studies, B2B cooperation, joint laboratories and co-funding of research to promote Mongolia’s socio-economic development, strengthen friendly relations, and continuously deepen bilateral cooperation in science, technology and innovation.
The MOU was included in the List of Deliverables of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
