On May 19, 2023 Dai Gang, Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Science and Technology, co-chaired the China-Netherlands Science and Technology Cooperation Consultation with Michiel Sweers, Director of Innovation & Knowledge of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and Gerbert Kunst, Director of International Policy at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Netherlands.

　　Both sides introduced their respective national strategies and policy priorities for sci-tech innovation, reviewed the achievements and experiences in bilateral sci-tech cooperation, and discussed the priority areas and practical measures for strengthening cooperation in the future. Looking ahead, both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen practical and efficient cooperation, expand areas of cooperation, work together to address climate change and other global challenges, and make positive contributions to the economic and social development of both countries and the world.
