On September 22, 2023, Chinese Vice Minister of Science and Technology Zhang Yudong met with Margaret Sheil, Vice-Chancellor and President of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-Australia science and technology exchanges and cooperation.
